Jan Bilodeau
Ringer
Jan is new to GSR. She is thrilled to be playing with such an amazing group of bell ringers! After many years of travel, teaching, and moving, with choir singing and some handbell ringing in churches, she settled 10 years ago on the seacoast, finding a handbell choir at the Exeter Congregational Church that she loves. A choral singer with her church, with a hospice choir: Journey Song, and Rockingham Choral Society, music is the language of her soul. Handbell ringing brings wonderful melodies and challenge, improving her music reading and singing. Jan lives in Newmarket with her husband, Vic, her cat, Zachary, and sees her 3 musical children and delightfully percussive grandsons in RI and NY whenever time allows. Kayaking and hiking, visiting her elderly mother, teaching kids about the ocean with the UNH Marine Docents, singing for patients in hospice care and playing handbells all bring much joy to her life!
