Linda Stathoplos

Linda has been ringing handbells over 40 years, playing in choirs in Rhode Island, Maryland, Maine, and now in New Hampshire with the Granite State Ringers. She has conducted intermediate-level handbell choirs in Maryland and Maine. In addition to her love of handbells, Linda has a Ph.D. in oceanography, and was proud to work for many years at NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). After retiring from NOAA in 2017, she was an independent consultant with Earth Resources Technology, providing support to NOAA’s satellite operations. Now retired from paid employment, she is a Climate Educator working to share helpful options to ease the negative effects of a warming climate. She lives with her husband in Wells, Maine.
