Linda received her Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island in 1989. She recently retired from NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), where she managed satellite data that monitors the Earth’s weather and climate, including sea level. She has been playing handbells for over 35 years, in choirs located in Rhode Island, Maryland, and Maine. She is excited to add New Hampshire to the list, now that she is a member of the Granite State Ringers. She lives with her husband in Wells, Maine.
